With the lack of internet at home, I haven’t really been able to do any ‘online’ work. If you guys haven’t seen me online lately, it’s seriously because my internet at home is limited to my neighbor’s wireless. I must further explain another time. Until then, Please enjoy this new drawing!

This took me about 5 hours total to do. Between just quickly sketching it out, outlining, then coloring, I wasn’t expecting to have it done tonight at all. I’m proud to say that 2 bowls and 4 cig’s into it, I got a second wind to finish it. More drawings will come about later. Who knows, I might even be able to push out T-Shirts and other cool products. Gotta spread the love, Yo.
I kind of wished I recorded the whole process. Oh well, maybe next time!

This reminds me of the days i had hamsters and the fact that they would never last. One didn’t even make it 2 weeks; not only was i shocked but a little disappointed. :(

Back when i was younger my brother got a hamster and one day it got loose and we had no idea where it was. We looked for hours to no avail and finally just suggested that it was hiding somewhere and would show up. I’m not sure how much time passed before we found him but he ended up under our refrigerator dead as dead could be. O.o

Dude, TBH, I wasn’t always so good. I’ve been drawing a lot and for a while. Never really took any classes on it, either. I just read a lot of comics, trolled a lot of people on deviantART, and my best friend is amazing at drawing. So, I’ve just always had a passion in it.
If I can offer any sound advice, just keep drawing. I can’t tell you how many gig’s of PSD’s I’ve gone through just drawing. The most amazing thing about digital art is the limits that are removed for you as an artist.
Yeah… so… keep drawing!
OH, another thing, I always am really really over-criticizing when it comes to my own work. Not that I’m fishing for comments, or very self-destrucrive, but it makes when I really do love my work (ie: the hamster popping strip) it’s satisfaction at its best. There is ALWAYS room to improve.

Well, if you don’t know already, the story behind my sn ‘burntmatches’ is ‘coz when I was 8 or so I took the class pet home from school one week (‘coz it was my turn or something). And just to be cool, I dared my best friend to put it in the microwave. He put it in there. Then I dared him to hit start. And we both stared at each other for a minute. To my surprise, he pushed the damn button. And we both stood there in horror not wanting to cop-out first.
Thus the result of poor matches.
And on AIM, my best friend and I had matching screen names: burntmatches & friedmatches

Man, all you do is put your e-mail addy in, and pick an avatar that you like. That way, instead of always uploading a diff avatar everytime you sign up to a site, the site will search for your gravatar first using the e-mail you signed up with.
